Is Dog Kennel Simulator free?
Yes. The game is free to play. It has optional in-app purchases, and it is fully playable without buying anything.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. The game works offline. You only need a connection to watch a reward ad or make a purchase.
Are there ads?
Only if you choose to watch them for a reward. There are no forced video ads.
Does my kennel keep going when the app is closed?
Yes. Time keeps running, so litters come due, training finishes and wages are paid while you're away. When you come back, the game catches up on the time you were gone.
What can I buy?
Medal packs in five sizes, from 80 to 3,000 medals, and a one-time Starter Pack with 400 medals. Prices are shown in Google Play in your local currency.
What are medals for?
Medals unlock extra breeds and buy boosters. They also speed things up — finishing a training session or a pregnancy early — fully heal a dog, re-roll a puppy's congenital traits, and help rescue a confiscated dog. You win medals in competitions too.
Is my progress saved if I change phones?
Not yet. For now, your progress is saved only on your device. If you uninstall the game or switch to a new phone, your progress will be lost. Cloud save isn't available yet, but it's on our list.
Which languages does the game support?
English, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal) and Turkish. You can switch the language in the game menu.
What happens if I run out of money?
You can go a little into debt — up to $500 at kennel level 1, then up to your bank limit. If you hit that limit, all your caretakers leave. Dogs that go unfed or unwalked lose health, and a dog whose health drops too low is taken away.
My dog was confiscated. What can I do?
You get a warning when a dog's health drops to 25, and the dog is confiscated at 10. You then have 24 hours to rescue it for $100 and 50 medals — watching a reward ad lowers the medal cost — and it comes back with 50 health. You can also give the dog up. If you do nothing before the deadline, the dog is gone.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstalling the game deletes the progress saved on your phone. To ask about data held by our analytics and advertising partners, see the data deletion page.
